The West Germany team took the field at Italia 90 with these dramatically-striped uniforms, and styled their way to win the World Cup, beating Argentina 1-0 in the final. This was the last tournament for West Germany before reunification with East Germany. At the next World Cup for USA 94, the German uniforms were even more brightly-colored.
